Produced by the Rice family of Clover Creek Cheese Cellar in Williamsburg, Pennsylvania, "Galen's Good Old" Gouda is one of the richest cheeses that we carry here at Family Farm Creameries. It's smooth, tangy and just like the rest of Clover Creek's products, it's an exemplary Pennsylvania farmstead cheese.

As a style, Gouda originated in the Netherlands and has become popular and recognizable the world over. While Goudas are best-known for their red wax rinds, "Galen's Good Old" has a beautiful natural rind that allows wheels of "Galen's" to breathe as they develop flavor during the aging process.

This versatile cheese has a slightly sharp and salty, buttery paste that pairs well with a wide spectrum of foods and drinks. It's soft enough to crumble and firm enough to grate or slice, adding flavorful creamy goodness to a variety of hot dishes like quiches, burgers and more.
