Cranberry Almond Chèvre

"Cranberry Almond Chèvre" is a sweet and tangy fresh goat's milk cheese from Sam and Susie Byler of River View Dairy in Emlenton, Pennsylvania.

Sam and Susie have been handcrafting fresh goat's milk products for 10 years, specializing in a variety of chèvre. The current varieties are French Herb, Onion and Chive, Dill and Garlic, Chipotle, Sun-dried Tomato Basil, and of course Cranberry Almond. Cranberry Almond Chèvre is my favorite cheese for slathering onto a hot bagel - or, in this case, a slice of Raisin Challah from Mediterra Bakehouse.
